Dr Melody Jackson
Dr Melody Jackson is a GP, IBCLC and an Adjunct Clinical Lecturer (UNDS). She is on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM). Melody runs a clinic in Norwest, providing support to women in the early postnatal period with complex breastfeeding issues, tongue ties, faltering infant growth, sleep and settling difficulties and maternal mental health.

Dr Eliza Hannam
Dr Eliza is a GP and IBCLC, and has developed a focus on all things perinatal care including pregnancy planning, GP antenatal shared care, postnatal care including feeding and sleep support and perinatal mental health.

Dr Nicole Gale
Dr. Nicole Gale is a GP and IBCLC dedicated to supporting families in their breastfeeding journeys. With years of clinical experience and a passion for empowering parents, Dr. Gale specialises in evidence-based breastfeeding medicine and personalised care.
As the founder of a leading practice in Melbourne focused on lactation and the perinatal period, she bridges the gap between science and compassionate healthcare. Through her work, Dr. Gale remains committed to nurturing healthy beginnings and advocating for inclusive, family-centered care.

Dr Sarah Bombell
Sarah is a GP Obstetrician and Lactation Consultant who works in the field of Breastfeeding Medicine. She also cares for women birthing at Queanbeyan Hospital.
Sarah completed her medical degree at the Australian National University. She gained her Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and her fellowship as a General Practitioner.
Sarah is passionate about providing families with evidence-based management whilst remaining mindful of the differing opinions and goals of families when it comes to infant feeding and newborn care. She has a special interest in oral restrictions including tongue and lip ties and runs regular tie clinics.

Dr Ali Hodgkinson
Ali is a mother of twins and a GP with a love of women’s health, child health and supporting families in the perinatal period.
She works as a GP with Nurtured Medical, supporting families in pregnancy and postpartum, with a focus on fertility and breastfeeding and infant sleep support. Ali also works as a fertility GP with Genea
Ali is currently completing her IBCLC accreditation under the mentorship pathway.

Dr Kate Jenkins
Dr Kate Jenkins is a GP working in breastfeeding medicine. She developed a strong interest in this area after having her son. After initially doing some breastfeeding medicine within her general practice work, she has now begun working in a devoted breastfeeding clinic. Additionally, Kate is a skilled women’s health GP and also works in the sexual assault service for women presenting to emergency after assault.

Dr Kavita Krishnan
Dr Kavita is a GP and IBCLC. She is passionate about improving breastfeeding support and education. She is a Shared Antenatal Care provider and has over 10 years’ experience in assessment and management of tongue tie (Ankyloglossia). She also provides free evidence-based information about breastfeeding on her social media.

Lana Hirth
Lana completed her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Honours) from the University of Wollongong in 2017.
She has trained hundreds of dietitians, presenting as an expert dietitian for the ELNA Nutrition Therapy for Pregnancy course and in the Nutrition Management of the Interpartum Period to upskill dietitians in pregnancy nutrition.
Her special interests are pregnancy, postpartum, interpartum (from birth to next pregnancy), breastfeeding, bariatric surgery and developing a health relationship with food.
